At Uruguay Nature Experience, we invite you to immerse yourself in the thrill of surfing at some of Uruguay’s most breathtaking beaches. Our surf plan is designed for both beginners and experienced surfers, offering the perfect combination of adrenaline, nature and relaxation.
What does the plan consist of?
The surf plan starts in the morning, as this is when the best wave conditions are. We meet the whole group at the best beach that we have previously coordinated, always choosing the ideal place according to the wave conditions. Upon arrival, we invite you with good mate, fresh fruit, nuts and drinks to start the day in the best way.
First we will have a theoretical surf talk with our teacher Tomás Villaronga, who will prepare you with the basics of surfing before going into the water. Then, you will move on to practice in the water, where you will learn how to read the waves, keep your balance and master the board. All the necessary equipment for surfing is included, from boards to wetsuits.
Iconic Surfing Spots
You can enjoy the waves at iconic spots such as Punta del Este, La Paloma, and Jose Ignacio, each with its own charm and challenges. Whether you are looking for the adrenaline of bigger waves or the tranquility of calmer beaches, our team will take you to the ideal spots according to your level and preferences.
More than Surfing: A Complete Experience
At the end of the experience, the most important part is the after experience, where the whole group gathers to share a delicious lunch. The menu is optional and can include Uruguayan barbecue, milanesas, empanadas or seafood, according to the group’s preference. The place for lunch can be in our own surf camp or in some other place recommended by us, always in a relaxed atmosphere and full of good energy.

If you decide to extend your adventure, we have lodging options in houses and cabins located near the beaches, so you can rest after a day full of emotions. Each accommodation is carefully selected to provide you with a comfortable and pleasant experience, always in direct contact with nature.
